Xaxis India to host its first DeViate Summit on 6 Nov

MUMBAI: GroupM’s programmatic and technological arm Xaxis India will host its first DeViate Summit on 6th November. The one-day event will gather the country’s top advertising and marketing professionals at Le Meridien, Gurgaon in Delhi for provoking discussions of issues including data-driven creativity in the face of new technology, the future of customer engagement and other emerging media channels.
DeViate aims to inspire agencies and clients to keep up with the curve and continually operate at the leading edge of what is making advertising relevant.
The summit’s agenda will feature 16-panel discussions and presentations beginning with welcome remarks from Xaxis India Country Lead Bharat Khatri and Xaxis APAC CEO Arshan Saha. The event will also be filled with thought-provoking, insightful conversations, and presentations from industry-leading experts including Babita Baruah, Managing Partner, GTB, Vikram Chande, Head of Adobe Advertising Cloud, Adobe India, and Sai Narayan, CMO, PolicyBazaar.
“We are proud to bring this highly popular APAC industry event to India so that professionals in the market have the opportunity to hear the country’s pioneering industry executives discuss the key issues dominating AdTech and MarTech today,” said Xaxis India country lead Bharat Khatri.
“The market is developing quickly in India and it is important that the industry is exposed to the latest thinking and strategies as well as best practices around the newest technologies pushing programmatic forward.”

Make Love Not Scars is an Indian nonprofit organisation that assists with the complete rehabilitation of acid attack survivors, including providing survivors with financial, legal and educational assistance.
The day of engaging presentations and panel discussions will conclude with a cocktail event for industry professionals to network and engage with the day’s speakers.
Following the success of the DeViate Singapore events in 2018 and 2019, Xaxis expanded its Innovation Summit series to the Indian market where programmatic is experiencing rapid growth. The DeViate event series has also launched in LATAM and EMEA.
In line with WPP’s sustainability pledge to phase out single-use plastics by 2020, both DeViate Singapore and India are single-use plastic-free. All food and drinks are served in glassware, all food ingredients are sustainably sourced wherever possible and event carpentry are predominantly made from natural or recycled materials. All non-food items will also be repurposed after the event.  DeViate India also strives for minimal waste, which means that there will be no brochures/pamphlets and only reusable items in the swag pack.
Xaxis APAC CEO Arshan Saha said, “The DeViate summits provide a valuable opportunity for industry leaders to discuss the next generation of technology and innovation in AdTech and MarTech. The Indian edition of this growing APAC event will be a fantastic opportunity for the industry’s most sought after talent and tech enthusiasts to discover the emerging technologies, winning methods and creative innovations that are pushing the marketing industry forward.”
